Comment for traffic

One great way to build traffic and visibility is to comment on blogs. Pick blogs you enjoy and that complement your niche and you’ll soon develop more traffic as new people become aware of you. Be very sure however that you leave quality comments, and not just the “yeah that’s great stuff” sort.
In the comment sections you’ll generally see that there’s a small picture or graphical avatar beside the commentor’s name. This make the comment appear more genuine and valid and begins to build a bit of a relationship. The generic avatars just seem less serious by comparison.
The system to add you photo is quite simple and easy. Simply visit Gravatar.com and register for your account. Upload your photo and you’re done. Now, each and every time you post in a linked site the photo will appear automatically.

The gravatar is attached to your email address, so if you use multiple addresses you’d better be sure to register all of them at gravatar.com
Post commenting is a great way to develop strong relationships with bloggers and drive new visitors to your site. The more successful blogs receive many comments and lots of traffic. The earliest comments usually appear first with the newest at the bottom. For this reason commenting early is best.
To increase your comment strength you need to be in early, and comment on the most popular blogs. There’s an easy way to do this. Simply subscribe to the blog by email or RSS feed and you’ll be alerted when the author posts. Once you see a new post then pounce into action and comment with you most brilliant added-value comment.
These little seeds are not too powerful by themselves, but a combination of quantity and time you’ll harvest the fruit of this effort for years.
